Download New Issue: June / July 2019 | VOL 8 – NO 3

Hey ladies, summer is starting to sizzle, and everything I love about Wisconsin summer is almost here. I love the lazy days at the lake. I love late night fires and early morning runs, followed by quiet cups of coffee while my tribe still sleeps. As I am writing this, I am reflecting on summers past. It seems like just yesterday I was spending lazy afternoons at the pool with my tribe. As much as I love this time of year, I always get a little melancholy as I feel the nostalgia of summers past. Life seemed crazy then, but as I reflect, it was so much easier. I wish I could create a perfume that would allow me to recapture the smell of my little nuggets on those long summer days: a mix of sunscreen and ice cream, with a touch of lilac. What I wouldn’t give to capture one more time when their wet little bodies would lay close to me to warm up after being in the pool for hours.
The summer 2019 journey continues in faith, family, friends, fitness, and finance.
